• The firm completed the acquisition, from an assignee of the FDIC for New South Federal Savings Bank, of lead lender servicing rights for a large group of existing participants in a $27,000,000.00 real estate development in Las Vegas.The firm closed the sale of the assets to a national homebuilder in April 2012. • The firm has been engaged by multiple lender groups to resolve loans related to Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Georgia.
• The firm recently completed the successful restructure of $18,000,000.00 in multiple participation loans for a subdivision in east Montgomery County, Alabama.
• The firm recently completed the successful acquisition of $63,875,000.00 in hotel and condominium participation loans from the FDIC as Receiver for Silverton Bank. Robert P. Reynolds and Gilbert C. Steindorff, IV served as counsel to the loan participants.
• The firm recently completed the successful acquisition of servicing rights in a $104,000,000.00 multi state commercial real estate loan from the FDIC as Receiver for Silverton Bank. Robert P. Reynolds and Gilbert C. Steindorff, IV served as counsel to a consortium of loan participants.
• The firm was recently engaged by steering committees of participant lenders to restructure a large number of commercial real estate loans in the Atlanta, Georgia area. The firm is currently assisting participation lender groups in resolving problem loans in excess of 800 million dollars.
• The firm, on behalf of the loan participants, recently resolved a dispute with the lead lender in a South Florida residential real estate transaction resulting in a multi-million dollar recovery for the clients. Robert P. Reynolds served as counsel to the participants.

• Robert P. Reynolds was a featured speaker at the 2011 Georgia Business Law Institute and presented a program on issues relating to failed banks, acquiring assets from the FDIC and participation loan problems relating to the FDIC. The Georgia Business Law Institute celebrated its 30th year of service to Georgia business lawyers.
• Justin B. Little was named a 2011 Alabama Super Lawyer “Rising Star” in the area of Bankruptcy and Creditor/Debtor Rights and Banking Law.
• Justin B. Little spoke on the effect of Bankruptcy on title to real property at Central Alabama Title Centers Title Topix 2011 Seminar.
